LO1: Explain how the development in technology has created opportunities for industries and sectors of your design idea.

The developement of technologies has helped make my idea a viable option because hardware has gotten better the size has also decreased and because of this size reduction it has made it possible to put all that power in such a small package. recently because of our huge technological convergence handheld gaming is competing with full sized consoles with how much they can handle for example the nintendo switch is on par with the PS4 and Xbox One. To plan, produce and distribute the product we have to many things that help us for example we would need to cross promote this could be with action figures from video games exclusive to our console we can also do cross platform advertising making it easier for consumers to buy our product we would also want a joint venture with a games company to help make exclusive games an example of a games company could be sumo digital and this is because they are a independent company. We could also colaborate with other companies outside of our sect...

After Nintendo’s success with the Gameboy other companies such as Atari and Sega also joined in and started making handheld consoles these include the Atari lynx(1989), Sega game gear(1990) and the Sega nomad(1995). The Atari lynx was considered a commercial failure and the main reason was that Atari were not listening to their customers and what they want whereas the Sega game gear was not considered a commercial fail but a success...
